Previous BBC Specialists Face MPs' Questioning Following Claims of Partiality in Unauthorized Document

Former BBC specialists speaking before MPs

We open with queries from Conservative MP the panel's head, who chairs the group.

She commences by providing details to the unauthorized document prepared by Michael Prescott and printed in a daily publication.

"It is not my wish for the BBC slanting toward one side or the other, I just want it neutral, fair and fair," he says.

In response to a query if he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, Prescott responds: "No I don't. Let's be clear, numerous aspects the BBC does is top-tier - including factual and non-factual programming."

However, he continues: "There is real work that requires attention at the British Broadcasting Corporation."

Another ex-adviser BBC consultant examined by the panel, Caroline Daniel, remarks she views the BBC with great importance and that it maintains a "continuous process and vigorous discourse" across evolving and intricate issues.

"Did the BBC ready to have a thorough conversation and debate and implement changes?" she reflects. "In my view, indeed, they were."
