Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high spot out wide and did plenty of dirty work. Displayed glimpses of brilliance and mishit a shot high. Substituted late on by a teammate, his competition, after being booked. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's top opening before halftime, his strike excellently kept out from the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah hanging back, he was forced to provide width out wide although his balls into the box were hit and miss. Taken off for the final quarter-hour. Six

Harry Kane The match-winner with his 77th and 78th finishes at international level. The opener a classic poacher’s finish and his next a superb header after peeling away away from the opposition. At 32, he’s only getting better and the side stand a real opportunity in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play out wide. Was presented with a good opening following a pass by the midfielder yet the keeper kept it out. His replacement made much more of an impact after coming on. 5
